Like all Fast Wax hard waxes. Universal is a hard ski wax that you will need to iron in. Then let it cool to room temperature, and scrape it off. You will be shocked at how easy it irons in and scrapes out.

Universal’s sweet spot is from 10 to 40 degrees, but will still work if it is colder or slightly warmer.
